She is recipient of many national awards and honours like:

[I] The Maharana Mewar Foundation Udaipur, Rajasthan has conferred its prestigious " Maharana Udai Singh National Environmental Award - 2004 " on 6th March 2005 at City Palace Udaipur to honour her work of permanent value in protecting the environment, hand in hand, with future development.

[ii] On the eve of International Woman Day [8th March 2005] the Hindustan News Paper New Delhi has recognized her environmental conservation endeavours as the "Ped wali Bai [ The Tree Woman of Chhattisgarh] "

[iii] The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, has conferred its prestigious award the " Stree Shakti Puraskar [Women Empowerment Award] 2002" to Smt. Suniti Yadav for her campaign for the Eco-feminist Movement in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and initiating the socio economic development project for welfare of lepers in Raigarh District , on 19th November 2006.

[iv] Three prestigious organization the ZEE India T.V., Archana Trust Mumbai and Dabur Vatika have conferred the prestigious “ZEE ASTITVA AWARD 2007 [Stellar Achievement Category]” to Mrs. Suniti Yadav on 25th August 2007 in Mumbai for her 15 years long exemplary environmental conservation works

[v].The largest Hindi News Paper Group Dainik Bhaskar Raipur has included Mrs. Suniti Yadav in 10 top Indian Women Achiever of 2007 along with Kiran Bedi , Indira Nuri, Sunita Williams, Sania Mirza etc.

In a single word ‘HUMILITY’ her personality can be described. Just after receiving the Woman Empowerment Award -2002, she ascribes the greatness of his achievements with characteristic modesty and admitted very humbly in a T.V. interview :
